There are 2 groups of videos on GayTies.com, member videos (listed individually in the members profile, if they uploaded one) and the very popular site videos (placed in the "Video Library" green link, by the staff).
Here are some helpful hints for searching through the site videos. First click on the green link, “Video Library.”
1. First, if you have an iPhone or iPod you need an app to watch Flash. here is how t get it:
Members with iPhones and iPods can watch the Flash videos on Gayties.com... Just download the iSafePlay app. It's FREE (at the moment) in the Apple App Store). You do need an iTunes I.D. There is now an option to select 'no payment method' so that you can get an ITunes I.D. without giving away your credit card details. Run the iSafePlay app and go to Gayties.com via it's browser. When you touch the picture of the video you want to see, a message will come up saying "Get Flash ..." etc ... press and hold your finger / stylus (anywhere other than on the 'Get Flash' text) till a menu comes up with 'Download FLV'. When the video has downloaded go to the 'Movies' option in iSafePlay and touch the picture of the video to watch it.
2. The Video Library displays videos in the order of last uploaded, first listed.
3. 80% of all videos can be seen by Regular Members. These are the members that either did not complete their profile, and/or did not upload an acceptable photo of them. (See photo requirements.)
100% if video can be seen by Premium Members. These are the members who complete both their profile information (the erotic section is optional), and uploaded an acceptable photo of themselves. Note: The photo does not have to show your face; it can be a headless torso shot of your front or your back. Premium Memberships are also free. So just add a photo to your completed profile and you become a free Premium Member FOR A FULL YEAR!!
4. How to find videos you like: That’s easy There are 2 ways to search. The first is a sort feature called “Categories.” Click on that, select your ategory and it will bring up all the videos in that category. To search the second way, click on "Filter" and type in a word like "Dance" or "Speedo" or "bondage" or "swim," and you will pull up all the videos that contain that word in their description.
There are many reasons why our videos may not play on some computers because many factors are involved. If a video won’t play for you, the best solution is to:
FIRST, download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player! You can find a link to this at the bottom of the home page, left column. This one action solves the problem for 90% of all members.
SECOND, check to make sure you have the latest version of your browser, if not, download it. This usually solves the problem for the rest of us.
For MAC users: Do an Inernet search for and download "Flip4Mac WMV Player." This will allow you to view Windows Media files (.wma and .wmv) in your QuickTime Player and view Windows Media content on the Internet using a web browser. This download supports Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome. This this link:

Mac users can also download VLC video play for Mac. See B below.
iPhone or iPod users, download the free app to view all Flash videos (.FLV). It's called iSafePlay and it allows the downloading and playing of these videos.
You may be also be interested in knowing that we never upload a video that staff cannot play. In other words, all videos posted are playable; it just depends on your computer software. We also know that Windows 7 has a known issue with the lastest version of Internet Explorer, creating a conflict with Adobe Flash Player. I hope they fix that soon. It drives us nuts.
Here is additional information that may help.
A. If you see a yellow strip or any link to download an add-on, that is not spam, that’s an add-on to your video player that the video requires for viewing, so it's safe to download.
B. No browser will support all video formats. For example, those users with phones that use Safari will not be able to view these videos. We recommend Internet Explorer (more recent versions), it works well. Type in "IE download" in Google search and you can find it. Google's Chrome browser is also good.Type "Google Chrome" into your search bar and you can get the link to their free download. In addition, we recommend the free VLC video player as a universal program for viewing videos. You’ll find a link to that video player in the bottom left column of our home page.
C. Another thing you can do is download a package of codecs which will assistant many players in playing more videos. However, which one you download depends, in part, on with version of Windows you have. Google "download video codecs" and see what is available for your computer. These set up automatically. You just need it on your computer.
D. Even if you do not use an Apple computer, their video program, QuickTime, may be essential for viewing some videos. So go ahead and download QuickTime, it's free. You do not need to do anything with it or set it up, the fact that it is on your computer is enough.
Due to all these issues, and they are not just Gayties.com issues, we are in the process of transitioning to a Flash video system, same as YouTube. It's a lot of work for us and will take time to convert our videos to flash, we are just volunteers here.
Lastly, Adobe has reported problems with Adobe Player 10.3 and Internet Explorer 9. Read these for yourself:
